This has been MS's strategy from the get-go: release a low-end console first, get a decent installbase, and sabotage the competition by forcing multiplatform games to be downgraded to work on their console.
The DVD storage capacity looks really pathetic when compared to that of a dual-layered BD.
I still hate EA for releasing NBA Live 07 & 08 even though both were clearly broken and refusing to make a patch in order to fix those issues. I'm leaning more on NBA2k9 or NBA09 this year.
$4B lost on the original Xbox; $1.5B and counting for the XB360. MS should have taken the smarter route and stuck with publishing games instead of making consoles. They would have turned in a relatively large profit with their games division by now if not for their hardware failures.
